In recalculating the target, we will utilise the latest version of the Science-Based target setting tool align with a 1.5☌ scenario. In 2023, our baseline will be recalculated to reflect recent organisational changes (including from acquisition and divestment activities). However, performance has been impacted by COVID-19 and we do not expect all the reductions achieved to be permanent. We made significant progress towards our targets in 2022. This target has been prepared in accordance with the Sectoral Decarbonisation Approach 'Services Buildings’ methodology published by the Science-Based Target initiative and uses the Science-Based Target Setting Tool, v1.1.
